Interested in how a PC works or how to build one? This class provides an overview of hardware components, and they interact with each other.
What you will learn
Students will learn about the fundamental hardware components that make up a computer system, including the central processing unit (CPU), memory, storage, and input/output devices. They will also gain an understanding of how these components interact with each other to perform tasks and execute programs. Additionally, the course will cover topics such as troubleshooting and upgrading hardware components, as well as best practices for building and maintaining your own computer system.
Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in computer hardware and be equipped with the skills needed to assemble and maintain their own PC. This will also give me the skills to go into further study in the IT Sector.
